The average monthly cost of food and groceries in the UK is from £150 to £300 per month, depending on students' lifestyle and eating habits. International students can save money by preparing their own meals.

3. Transportation Costs in the UK

The cost of travelling within a city to university depends on the city and how often the student travels and is typically around £40 – £120 per month for Nepali students.

The Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) is typically paid by international students as part of the visa application process and is currently £776 per year.
